What does motour mean by ‘the fine art of motorbiking’? |
| In a nutshell: pure unadulterated enjoyment – when you ride with motour, we guarantee that the only thing you have to worry about is your own personal enjoyment – and nothing else. For us at the motour team, quality-consciousness is our top priority. We want our customers to feel comfortable and at ease when traveling with us, and to enjoy their favorite pastime to the fullest extent possible. We ride exclusively in small groups – with an emphasis on having fun, not making money. Our tours, the routes and hotels we select and the sights and places of interest you’ll see along your journey are all painstakingly planned to the last detail, and our experienced tour guides are not only outstanding motorcyclists but also excellent tour guides who know their routes well. |

What kinds of tours does motour offer ? |
| As a rule we make a distinction between Connoisseur tours, Pro tours and Adventure tours, the nature of which are briefly described below: |
|
Connoisseur Tours |
| Connoisseur tours are especially suited for tour riders who get as much enjoyment from riding as they do from experiencing the natural splendor around them. We begin each day at a non-hectic pace, making numerous stops and generally arriving at our day’s destinations sometime in the afternoon. Our tour guides maintain a pleasant driving style and the routes as well as the hotels selected including the local cuisine they serve up ensure you will have a highly enjoyable trip. The group size for Connoisseur tours is a maximum of eight riders and/or motorcycles plus tour guide. Please see the specific tours for detailed route information. |
|
Pro Tours |
| Each and every one of these tours is designed for experienced and ambitious bikers – for athletic tour riders who really have a ‘feel for the leather’. The emphasis is on the more athletic aspects of travel. These tours will give you the ultimate holiday kick. Depending on how ambitious the group’s goals are, we tend to cover a lot of ground each day, occasionally starting out pretty early in the morning and arriving at our destination later in the day. Our guides on these tours tend to have a fast and compact driving style in smaller groups. The group size for Pro tours is a maximum of six riders and/or motorcycles plus tour guide. Please see the specific tours for detailed route information. |
|
Adventure Tours |
| ‘Less is more’ is the motto of our Adventure tours, which feature everything from soft to hard endurance riding and off-road excursions here and there. It takes a fairly intrepid spirit to spend a holiday climbing into the Ecuadorian Andes on roads that resemble paths more than anything else, or to drive a peculiar-seeming, Indian-made Royal Enfield in the Himalayas at an altitude of 5,604 meters over the highest motorable pass in the world. These tours are therefore designed for real ‘crack’ bikers who are constantly seeking out new and challenging experiences. The routes we take mean that, while always clean, our accommodation tends to be modest. For obvious reasons, these kinds of tours also require that riders pack lightly. Depending on the travel destination, the group size for Adventure tours is anywhere from two to a maximum of six riders plus tour guide. Please see the specific tours for detailed route information. |

How are the groups organized? |
| We consider our clients’ wishes according to the order in which we receive their tour applications. At an appropriate time in the future, the tour guide responsible for the tour in which you are interested will then contact you to get more detailed information about your driving style. In case you are located in Switzerland, he will invite you to come along on a short ride so we can get an idea of the individual participants. Our goal is for you to enjoy your motorcycle tour to the maximum extent possible, and part of ensuring this requires that individual participants fit together in terms of their expectations, their experience and naturally their personal riding style, too. |

|
